Quik Corp secures $20 million contract to supply ultra-light fire appliances

Quik Corp, a member of Queensland's Heavy Vehicle Network, has been awarded a $20 million contract to supply more than 400 ultra-light fire appliances to the Victorian Government's Department of Environment and Primary Industries. The unit being supplied has a modular and functional design and is suited to the Mercedes Benz G-Wagon platform.

Key features include:

• custom built stowage and locker configurations
• a tyre handler for automated tyre lift and lower
• 620 litre tank
• falling object protection structure.
