No. 1 Combat Communication Squadron, which has been predominantly based at RAAF Base Richmond will soon be based at Queensland’s RAAF Base Amberley. 1CCS’s mission is provide a specialised range of deployable communications services, information systems, navigational aids and advice in support of the Australian Defence Force, allied and regional forces in Australia and at deployed locations.
