Defence business-to-business speed meetings (30 June 2015)

The Department of Defence, Australian Industry Liaison – Queensland invite representatives from defence industry to take part in the upcoming Defence Industry Collaboration event being held in Brisbane on 30 June 2015.

This is an opportunity for companies to engage with others and better understand each other’s capabilities, strengths and synergies. It is envisaged that some businesses may develop collaborative relationships that may enhance their future success in the competitive Defence market.

Companies are requested to submit their quad chart upon registration which will be packaged together and released to participants prior to the event. Participants are encouraged to print the package and bring it with them on the day, as well as using the package as reference tool following the session. There is no fee for attending.

Event structure

  • introduction
  • speed meeting sessions - participants will meet with another company for 5 minutes prior to moving onto the next meeting, until all companies have been introduced to each other
  • networking morning tea and lunch.

Event Details

Date :Tuesday 30 June 2015
Time : 9am - 4pm (timing will be dependent on the number of participating companies, however the session will not extend past 4pm)
Location : QUT Executive Education Centre, Level 4, B Block, 2 George Street, Brisbane.
