MRO Asia-Pacific 2020

MRO Asia-Pacific Virtual: Overcoming Unprecedented Change and the Challenge of What Lies Ahead is being held online from 22-24 September 2020.

The event will provide digital content and networking, and a marketplace where the airline, OEM and MRO supplier communities can discover and showcase new products and innovations, connect with and source new and existing business partners, and share knowledge and best practices.

The Queensland Government, through Defence Jobs Queensland, will be exhibiting at the event along with 10 leading Queensland aerospace companies. These companies are:

  • Aero Plastics is a supplier of quality aerospace products and cost-effective solutions to aviation manufacturers and maintenance facilities worldwide, backed by quality service and product support. With its modern, well equipped manufacturing plant located in Townsville, the company is dedicated to supporting the regional airline industry. AP&S’s capabilities cover an extensive range of quality interior mouldings—from meal tray repairs to complete replacement interior kits—and include specialised ‘one-off’ design concepts as well as high volume certified and approved production runs. The company’s material testing facilities provide for comprehensive verification to the required aviation principals, ensuring the highest product standards.

  • AVCRO Pty Ltd (Aviation Component Repair and Overhaul) are aircraft overhaul specialists with bases at Brisbane, Wellcamp and Warwick Airports in Queensland. The company offers premium quality aviation repairs and modifications, and specialises in component maintenance services. AVCRO now offer storage maintenance transition and anticipate granting of their A1 Approval Certificate for ATR 72, A320 and B737NG Line in coming weeks to add to its existing scope. The company is committed to increasing its capability and extending reach in the regional carrier and storage maintenance sector. AVCRO is a CASR Part 145 Approved Maintenance and Repair Organisation, approved to conduct aircraft maintenance to GA, charter and RPT sector aircraft.

  • As one of the few AS9100 certified microelectronics manufacturers in Australia, Crystalaid is uniquely positioned to provide a seamless experience for customers through the design, manufacture, assembly and repair of complex Printed Circuit Assemblies to IPC Class 3 standard. Founded in 1952, Crystalaid has a long history of producing and supporting a wide variety of solutions for customers across the aerospace and defence industries. Crystalaid’s exceptional skill level ensures that, in addition to design and manufacture, Crystalaid is capable of providing customers with the ability to undertake complex diagnosis and repair of printed circuit assemblies while also offering services such as final assembly.

  • Hawker Pacific - a Jet Aviation Company has been delivering a diverse range of integrated aviation solutions for more than 40 years. These include aircraft sales; aircraft support and management; and aircraft supplies across Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, the Middle East, plus many more locations throughout Asia and the Pacific. The company has a successful track record of delivery, specialising in working closely with customers to clearly understand their requirements and offer solutions to best fit budgetary, schedule and capability needs.

  • Heston MRO is one of the largest independent MRO organisations in Australasia and has been delivering customer-driven MRO services for more than 25 years. The company understands the changing needs of local and international airlines and is ready to open new line stations on demand, offer superior line and light maintenance (P145), engine on wing services, technical training school (P147), materials, components and warehouse solutions and also long and short term aircraft parking and storage in the region.   • Pacific Air Express is a cargo airline based in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and operating both domestically and internationally to and from the South Pacific and Asia regions.   • Pacific Turbine Brisbane has Part 145 MRO, P&W PT6A and Honeywell TPE331 workshops for turbine modification, repair and overhaul.
