Clare Little from QinetiQ

In her role as General Manager Commercial at QinetiQ Australia, Clare Little is making her mark on the company and the wider defence industry. Clare was recognised in 2020 as part of the ADM Women in Defence Awards, jointly winning the Legal and Contracting category.

QinetiQ has played a key role in the establishment of the Queensland Flight Test Range (QFTR), a commercial drone flight testing facility located at Cloncurry Airport. The Queensland Government has invested $14.5 million into the foundation phase of the facility to give autonomous systems developers access to state-of-the-art testing capability and bring more high-tech jobs to Queensland.

‘We’re proud to operate and manage the QFTR on behalf of the Queensland Government, supporting jobs in Queensland and contributing sovereign skills to the defence industry,’ Clare said.
