Thales opens new facility in Townsville

Thales has opened another Queensland facility in Townsville to supplement its existing Bushmaster support centre in Brisbane. The facility was officially opened on 21 April 2015 by Major General Paul McLachlan, Head of Land Systems at the Defence Materiel Organisation (DMO).

The new facility is located in close proximity to one of the Army's major defence bases, Lavarack Barracks, and will primarily support the Australian Defence Force's Bushmaster vehicles.
