Applications now open for trade mission to Paris

Eurosatory Defence and Security Expo

All defence export-ready Queensland companies interested in being part of a Commonwealth Government trade mission to Paris in June this year are invited to submit applications to attend Eurosatory 2018.

The leading international land defence and security exhibition will be held from 11-15 June at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre. This biennial event has been running since 1967 and is based on four pillars:

  • International: brings together worldwide exhibitors, visitors and journalists
  • Business: offers exhibitors and visitors various services to help develop commercial opportunities
  • Technological showcase: presents numerous examples of equipment and systems
  • A forum for ideas: supports exchanges of views about the evolution of defence and security between all the players of the domains

The defence delegation to France is being coordinated by the Centre for Defence Industry Capability (CDIC) and hosted by Team Defence Australia (TDA.). Participation is free and includes exhibition space on the Australian stand. Delegates are required to cover their own travel expenses and other related costs.

This is the first time an Australian stand has been coordinated at the event. Participation provides an excellent opportunity to market your business and develop valuable relationships with the European defence and security sector.

You can register your interest by completing the required EOI document and sending it to cdic_exports@industry.gov.au

The closing date for EOIs is midnight, Sunday 18 March 2018.
