Archerfield Airport welcomes new General Manager, Heather Mattes

Heather Mattes has been appointed as the new General Manager of Archerfield Airport, following the retirement of Mr Corrie Metz.

Mrs Mattes has extensive experience across general aviation, property, construction and asset management and operations, is a pilot and former National President of the Australian Women Pilots' Association.

Mrs Mattes is looking forward to working with stakeholders to drive the growth of aviation at Archerfield Airport, supporting the work of the Australian Airports Association to develop the general aviation sector across Australia and looking for further business opportunities for the Archerfield Airport precinct.

The appointment of Mrs Mattes sees women at the helm of both Brisbane's airports, with Julieanne Alroe as Chief Executive Officer of Brisbane Airport Corporation.
