Vector Aerospace Australia, based in Brisbane, signed a major maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) contract with Field Air at the recent Avalon Airshow.
Vector Aerospace, a leading provider of MRO services worldwide, said the contract with Field Air, who is the Air Tractor dealership for the Asia Pacific region, will result in exclusive MRO work on PT6A engines used in agricultural and firefighting aircraft.
Managing Director of Field Air, Peter Mackay, said “Field Air has appreciated the excellent service levels, support and flexibility provided by the Vector Brisbane facility.”
Vector Aerospace’s Eagle Farm operation is a fully authorised Designated Overhaul Facility (DOF) for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A family of engines.
