Pacific 2015 banner

The Pacific 2015 International Maritime Exposition was held in Sydney, Australia, from 6-8 October 2015. The expo promoted the capabilities of naval defence and commercial maritime industries from around the globe to key decision makers.

Queensland company takes out innovation award

Queensland company AirBerth was the winner of this year's Maritime Australia Limited Industry Innovation Award, announced at Pacific 2015.

The company was selected from a shortlist of ten companies, of which four were from Queensland, as outlined below.

Queensland Government Defence and business leaders' networking breakfast

On Wednesday 7 October 2015 Defence Industries Queensland held a networking breakfast for 80 Defence, government and industry representatives to coincide with the Pacific 2015 expo.

A keynote address was provided by Minister for State Development, Dr Anthony Lynham, and the latest Defence Industries Queensland video was presented to showcase the state's maritime capabilities.
