The RedEye team.

Name: Veronica Pires
Position: Marketing Lead

What are your company's capabilities?

RedEye is the first fully cloud-based and purpose-built engineering drawing management platform for mining, oil and gas, power and water companies and their service providers globally.

RedEye is an Engineering Drawing Collaboration Management Solution (EDCMS) helping clients improve the way they upload, work with, share, find, print, mark-up, submit, approve and manage their engineering drawings across the entire lifecycle of each drawing and its associated asset. It enables clients to take advantage of cloud computing to drive productivity and efficiency into their project operations.

RedEye is also sustainable and environmentally friendly. The solution eliminates the need to print engineering drawings with an easy-to-use online mark-up tool, drawings, and document sharing systems and an integrated approval and revision tool. It allows users to reduce paper, pens, dust and damage to drawings, while significantly reducing their carbon footprint.

How are these capabilities unique and how do they benefit your customers?

Clients see RedEye as a game changing solution because it gives businesses the opportunity and support to take control over their drawings with a safe and risk-free solution that reduces contractor costs and enables intellectual property retention.

To quote Dannielle Dendle from Peak Downs Mine, BHP, "RedEye is unique because of its advancement in technology, which is revolutionising the way drawing has been managed for decades. It creates highly efficient solutions that require minimal effort from the end user."

Has your company won any significant awards in the last five years?

  • Australian Supply Chain and Logistics Awards 2014 finalist - Information Management category
  • Australian Innovation Challenge 2014 finalist - Professional category

What projects are you currently working on?

RedEye is at the forefront of technology and innovation in the resources industry and is committed to maintaining that reputation. Our product functionality is continually being developed to give it even greater product market fit and to fuel the continual growth in market share and demand for our product, both domestically and internationally.

Our team is currently working on two main features: improving our search tool, to ensure our users can find the drawings they need quicker and more efficiently; and adding a related document capability. Both functionalities will enhance our user interactivity and consequently improve productivity, efficiency and control over their assets.

What are your company's plans for the next one to two years?

Our mission is "to make the world's engineering drawings and data more available, useful and valuable". In order to achieve that goal, we have specific and measurable plans for the following 12-18 months.

The RedEye solution has potential to become a global leader. Given the globally competitive landscape for major resources projects, the global economy is facing increasing challenges from lower cost countries. RedEye drives projects and operational costs down, being a globally competitive and technologically advanced solution.

RedEye is at a growing stage. After successfully expanding into North America, we will be focusing on hiring exceptional professionals and investing in strategic marketing campaigns and sales.

In order to uphold our unique innovative solution, RedEye is also committed to maintaining our reputation by continually developing new and relevant functionalities and always considering client needs and demands.
